Ø Cooking in the
oven
Bake the chicken for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. At
the end of the half hour, reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook chicken Weighs
chicken 15 minutes for each additional pound. If your chicken 3 pounds, you
would cook for 30 minutes at 400 Degrees and then for 45 minutes at 350
degrees. If chicken 4 pounds, will Bake at 400 for 30 minutes and Then another
60 minutes (1 hour) at 350 degrees.
Ø Check the
chicken
Test the chicken to make
sure it is done. Chicken is cooked when the juices run clear when chicken is
pierced with a fork Or a knife. If the chicken juices are clear, and return to
the oven for 5 minutes until the juices are clear.
